Warranty Policy


Long Beach Dive sells all of its products subject to the Long Beach Dive Statement of Limited Warranty. Long Beach Dive does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of any product, or that Long Beach Dive will correct all defects. And, unless Long Beach Dive specifies otherwise, it provides all products WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE USING  Long Beach Dive PRODUCTS. 

Long Beach Dive products are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, with the sole exception of defective Long Beach Dive hardware, described below. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the product is assumed by you. If the product proves defective, you (and not Long Beach Dive, its Licensors, or its dealers) assume the entire cost of all necessary servicing, repair, or correction.

Long Beach Dive hardware shall be free from defects in material and workmanship only for period of 30 days from the date of original purchase. If a defect occurs during this period, and is returned to the dealer from which it was purchased not later than 5 days after the end of such period, the dealer shall, at its option, either repair or replace the item. This warranty is in lieu of all other express or statutory warranties, and the duration of any implied warranty including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, is hereby limited to said 30 day period.

If a defect covered by this warranty occurs during this period, the user may request a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number from Long Beach Dive. Upon receipt of the returned item's, Long Beach Dive shall, at its option, either repair or replace the item. Such repairs or replacement will be done at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. The customer is however responsible for transportation costs. Items returned to Long Beach Dive without a valid RMA number will not be accepted. This warranty does not cover failures due to abuse, misuse, accident, or unauthorized alteration or repairs.

Long Beach Dive's liability is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the product hardware, and shall in no event include damages for loss of use or loss of anticipated profits, savings, costs, expenses, or other incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the product, including without limitation, any damages arising from data or information loss or rendered inaccurate, regardless of the form of action whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict product liability or otherwise, even if Long Beach Dive, its licensors, or its dealer has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Long Beach Dive and its licensors do not warrant, guarantee or make any representations that the functionality contained in the product will meet your requirements or that the use or operation of the product or that the results of such use will be correct, accurate, reliable, current, uninterrupted, or error free; and you rely on the product and results of its use solely at your own risk.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties, so the above exclusion and limitation may not apply to you. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages so the above exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights and you may also have other rights which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

This limiting warranty shall be governed by the laws of the state of New York, U.S.A. excluding its conflicts of laws principals and excluding the United Nations Conventions on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

We want our customers to be happy with the products we sell. Please take a moments and read our terms for returns and replacements:

General Policies

Defective equipment may be returned within 30 days of the ship date printed on invoices and packing slips.

After 30 days of purchase, please contact
Long Beach Dive for repairs subject to our warranty policy.

How to Report and Package your Return

ALL returns require pre-authorization from Long Beach Dive. An RMA (Return Materials Authorization) can be obtained by calling Long Beach Dive Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (EST). Please have your Long Beach Dive invoice or packing slip available when you call. If the product is defective, please be prepared to tell us about the problem. (International customers may email us with a complete description of the problem or concern).

- Returns that show signs of abuse cannot be accepted.

- Items received without an RMA number will be refused or returned.

- All returns require a proof of purchase (copy of the original invoice).

- All boxes must have the RMA# clearly marked on the outside of the box, in addition to the mailing label indication below. 

- Returned products must be shipped 100% complete, including the original box, packaging material, manuals, software, inserts or flyers, and all other adapters and accessories provided, unless otherwise specified by a Long Beach Dive representative.

- All returns must be boxed within a box with sufficient filler, and taped closed with proper filament or wide tape.

- Return of the product in good condition and the return freight are the responsibility of the customer.

- Upon receipt, all products will be carefully inspected. Credit may be refused and balances for missing or damaged items will not be credited to your account. We will ship back any incomplete or damaged items that fall under this category. Credit for items returned in good order will be given within 10 days of receipt.

- Except under special circumstances, all international orders must be returned at the customer's expense. We regret that Long Beach Dive cannot be responsible for any duties, fees, or taxes, which may be incurred.

Although we try very hard to be accommodating, failure to comply with the policy outlined above may result in the refusal of returned goods and or refusal of a refund or credit.
